So I'm a little obsessed with Story of the Blanks right now. Just played it a few weeks ago, and for some reason, there's like a ton of background art ideas floating through my head.

Plus, I want to spend the next two months working on perspective AND background because if I want to get anywhere in the art world, those are two things I NEED to know. And what better way to work on fundamentals than with shows/toons that I like and want to do some art for?

....Okay secret-time, guys. I drew this during my Digital Painting class at CRC as a warm up (they got some super nice Wacom tablets) and now I've got a few other SotB pieces I feel like doing.

So anyway, this is one of the scenes that particularly stuck out to me. Once she arrives in Sunny Town, Applebloom meets the weeping, moping Mitta hiding away inside her rather dreary home. Why's she so sad? You're just going to have to play the game to find out!
