So I decided to do something. Something with color and girls. And this is the something. The color something.
I wanted the composition to function more as a color wheel, so I tried to work the tertiary colors in where I could to make it complete. So yeah. I made an anthropomorphized color wheel and made them a band of sorts.
Yellow is Maria Amarillas, the drummer.
Orange is Genki Orenji, an idol girl singer.
Red is ShRed, the guitarist.
Purple is Indigo Jones, the bass guitarist.
Blue is Neela Preet, the keytarist.
Green is Green Beatz, the turntable/sound mixer.
And like a traditional color wheel, all the complementary colors are in their appropriate spots across from each other. For those of you who aren't familiar with color theory, complementary color pairs are yellow-purple, red-green, and blue-orange.
Am I going for a metaphor, about how colors all work together in harmony, like a music band? Nah, I'm not that deep. Girls of Color, everybody.
